The landmark tavern at Five Points in
Mercerville was built in the mid-1700s. The
exact date is not known, but it is rumored that
George Washington and his troops passed by the
tavern on their way to the “Battle of
Princeton”. In later years, the tavern was owned
by many prominent area families and can lay
claim to the oldest liquor license issued in
Hamilton Township.
As you walk through the
doors of this historic building you'll see
friends, neighbors, & folks from work. The
menu at Bills is full of pleasing, feel-good
food that manages to work for your whole family.
Piled – high sandwiches, bread bowls full of
soup, barbecued ribs, sizzling steaks, tavern
favorites, creative salads and loads of
appetizers make it the kind of place that
satisfies every person at your table. To top it
all off, the menu prices at Bill's will make it
your favorite place to come for some terrific
food in a relaxing, fun environment. Their
friendly staff of servers and bartenders have
many years of experience and are ready to
provide you with exceptional service.
Whether you want a tasty seafood dinner with
your favorite glass of wine or you want to relax
and enjoy Monday Night football with a large
corned beef Reuben and ice cold draught beer,
Bill’s Olde Tavern is the place to go.
